PACIFIC DRAINAGE PROJECTS AND WASTE WATER BY FUNDING THE NETHERLANDS

These are grants of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands to contribute to human development and private sector development, benefit the health of people and helpful to the business. Accordingly, the Netherlands donates 13 million EURO for Binh Duong Province to implement, operate and maintenance project of wastewater treatment and collection phase 1 processing capacity of 15 thousand m3/day-night.

This project was delivered to the company limited water supply-Pacific environment invested. The goal of the project will collect and treat wastewater for the area has a total area of nearly 3,400 hectares in the region of three towns: Dĩ An and Thuận, Tân Uyên district; including nearly 1,200 hectares for the project’s priority areas, including 19,400 households and about small and medium enterprises 219, small production facility.

At the signing ceremony, Mr Simon Van Der Burg, Kingdom of the Netherlands Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City said, with building complete systems including collectors and sewage from households and small and medium enterprises in the region, this project will improve the lives of people and help existing businesses along enterprises in the future be set up in the area to minimize environmental impacts from waste water source of this business. From there, the general living conditions in the area will be improved per the extensively, contributing to socio-economic growth sustainable in the project area.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the provincial people’s Committee of Binh Duong Tran Thanh Liem thanks the Government of the Netherlands has to help, sponsor Of the credit to investment projects in sewerage and sewage disposal, contribute to improving the quality of life of people, create new developments in environmental protection.

This is also an important event in order to protect the environment of the province, contributing to improving and ensuring the water quality of Dong Nai River system, a source of running water for more than 12 million people in the provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City.
